Academics
Toddlers are movers. We channel their energy and excitement into positive early education learning experiences. As children’s mobility grows, we give them plenty of room to move and discover. We also guide them toward developing new physical skills and achieving emerging milestones.
When you’re an active, enthusiastic 2-year-old, the world is your playground! We funnel that enthusiasm into chances to learn, grow, and build confidence and independence. Through our early education program, we offer our 2-year-old learners interactive, hands on learning experiences.
We’ve cleared a footpath to Preschool with our Three’s program. It’s built to meet the needs of 30- to 42-month-old children. We guide them toward working with others, following directions, following established routines, and developing a skill set that will turn them into independent learners.
Pre-K classes provide children with the skills they need for elementary school. Here, your child will learn effective communication, work in groups and independently, and develop a deeper understanding of their world. We teach our children:
- Problem-solving
- Responsive listening
- Using language to learn
- Social & collaborative skills
The format and structure of a day in kindergarten is introduced, as we help children to develop critical skills for elementary school success. This program offers kindergarten-level lessons in reading, writing, and math. This classroom provides young 5-year-olds and older 4-year-olds with a strong focus on:
- Following multi-step instructions
- Finding multiple ways to solve problems
- Organizing work
- Controlling impulses and sustaining attention

Tot Stop is a preschool with a vision. Like most child care facilities, we are concerned with the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of our students. Our vision is to reach the whole family and enrich our community. To advance that vision, we have developed the Family Resource Center. We have found an effective way to carry out the idea of reaching into families of the community with resources that can help them succeed.
Tot Stop is a state licensed preschool and kindergarten run by a fully qualified staff of educators to provide each child the basics needed to grow up and succeed in life. We believe that a child will learn effectively from a foundation built on love and affection in a loving, safe, and healthy environment.
We promote our students self esteem through a program of creativity and individuality. Tot Stop is a hands-on center that will help each student to develop motor skills, socialization skills, and personal growth. Tot Stop believes that the most important service that we can provide your child is an atmosphere in which your child can learn and develop to the best of their ability while away from home.
